This extravagantly, although accurately, titled new release from the Durham siblings from London essentially repeats the recipe that worked so well on their sophomore outing, Smoking In Heaven. Namely winning melodies, sugarbeat hooks and rhythm sweet beats, dusted with the kind of sunny-side-up urban lyricism that makes every day sound like an afternoon stroll through 21st century Holland Park.

And with Mick Jones (of The Clash) at the controls, that west London hipster vibe is fairly trowelled on. Obvious kudos aside, he's a perfect fit in that his entire career has been about arranging the bejayzus out of genre-mashing songwriting - whether melding lovers rock, rock 'n' roll, glam rock and punk in any number of Clash tunes, or blending hip hop, reggae and stadium rock for Big Audio Dynamite, Jonesy knows how it works.

Dozens of combinations of ska, rockabilly, swing, jazz, country, blues and pure pop ooze from every groove and the producer even finds time to lend his post-Gorillaz funk guitar to the delightfully organic disco stomp of Feeling of Wonder.

Of course, the post-vintage ennui is going to kick in at some point, but for now do yourself a favour and forget about trying to resist its charms, …The Third will paint a ruddy great smile on your face and keep there for the rest of the day.

And where's the harm in that?
