Freedom To Roam
Neil King catches up with Eliza Marshall about Freedom To Roam
Eliza Marshall’s Freedom to Roam is a music and film project inspired by a desire for universal compassion and respect for nature. The project traverses themes such as climate change, conflict, restriction, empathy and ecological destruction. Each facet of the project (album, documentary and live concerts) has been crafted with world-class musicians and film makers as a response to our own and the planet’s most pressing needs.
We were very pleased that Eliza made herself available to record an interview piece about Freedom To Roam and their recently released debut album "The Rhythms Of Migration".
Freedom To Roam: The Rhythms of Migration will premiere live on Saturday 18th December at Cecil Sharp House in London. The documentary will also premiere at this event.
With a line up of world-class musicians, Eliza Marshall’s Freedom To Roam will play their stunning new album in its entirety. This ground-breaking concert and album launch, in aid of Save Africa’s Giants – an urgent new campaign from Born Free, highlights a new global journey with compelling original music and inspirational visuals, weaved together through tablas, harps, Flutes, strings and percussion.
